Dr. Carty and Stacey Wildenhain presented for the Massachusetts National Association of Social Work on June 27, 2022. We discussed the development, implementation, and preliminary evaluation of the Phoenix Project. The Phoenix Project is the 6 month, institutionally based re-entry program at the ACI. The virtual audience were receptive to recognizing that people who have been incarcerated, not only will be released, but will be eligible to become successfully engaged in their communities, their families, and to the work force. The reviews include “Such an amazing program!!” “Great! Loved the client letters and videos, very helpful content to me for a new program”. “Very informative on how this program assists felons to re-enter the civilian life”.  For more information on Phoenix, please feel free to reach out through this site.
