Phoenix Odyssey is the only post-release program that is available to help the formerly incarcerated to continue their journey with the staff they have already worked with while incarcerated and that includes bringing their families and children to create a comprehensive approach to long lasting success!
Phoenix Odyssey is excited to share the news that we have received a $2000 donation from Governor Dan McKee! He has been sharing 100% of the leftover funds from his inaugural fundraising effort to nonprofit charitable organizations. We are grateful for his support and will continue to provide services with our partners to help assure successful re-integration transitions for justice involved individuals! ABOUT US
What is this Program?
501 C3 Non-Profit Organization EIN#92-0920434
Phoenix Odyssey was developed from working with the needs of the Phoenix Project folks to facilitate a smoother transition from incarceration to living healthier lives in the community. When the Phoenix Project clients were interviewed several months after they returned home from prison they indicated that a reliable social support network was one of the key elements of their successful re-integration.
These networks included their families and the staff at Vantage Point who also worked on the Phoenix Project while they were incarcerated. The post-release process is often difficult because of the clients’ inability to navigate the internet, prioritize or organize their daily schedules, work on developing reliable and safe interpersonal relationships.
