We were invited to speak with students at the Brown University Schol of Public Health, People, Place and Health Collective class on Monday November 3, 2025. Professor Alexandria Macmadu, and her students, were so welcoming and passionate about their role in helping justice involved people. It speaks volumes that Professors and students take time to meet with, and discuss, the very relevant issues that are specific to the needs women and men who are reintegrating to their communities. Our Phoenix Project and Odyssey graduates are remarkable in their desire to help the community understand the obstacles of reintegration and how their success since coming home has such a positive impact that ripples throughout the community. Thank you, Professor Macmadu and you’re your students, for inviting us!
