As we prepare for our upcoming art event, Letters of Change, happening on September 18th at Something Fishy in Warwick, we’ll be spotlighting the featured artists and their artwork each week. This week’s artist spotlight features art from Manny.
“This type of art is very original. The medium I work in is oil based colored pencils and sharpie. My art expresses myself and/or others through readings I’ve heard and the writing I’ve done of “Letters to my 12 year old self.” I’ve been influenced by artists like Morgan Davidson as well as the environment I grew up in. I think my art channels adversity and overcoming hard times. Thank you and enjoy.”
